The 134th Annual Sons of the American Revolution Congress is completed. Daryl Addington is our President General and the list of general officers include two Virginians, Secretary General Mike Elston and Historian General Jeff Thomas.
Doug and Bill Schwetke represented the Culpeper Minutemen Chapter, though actually Bill was a delegate for France and was reelected Alternate Trustee representing France. Bill is a dual member of the French Society. Both Doug and Bill participated in the Color Guard at various occasions during the Congress.
The highlight for the Culpeper Minutemen Chapter was the selection of our chapter's Youth Poster winner as the national winner! Congratulations to Jocelyn Wilson and her parents Dr JoDell Wilson and Compatriot Michael Wilson.

Virginia had the largest delegation at the Congress, making up 8% of all the delegates attending. The social highlight for Virginian's was a Virginia Dinner at Largos Greek Restaurant attended by most of the delegates and family members in attendance.
