Twenty Virginia SAR Compatriots marched in the George Washington Birthday Parade in Old Town Alexandria. The SAR contingent was led by the Frederick Town Fife and Drum of Frederick Maryland, who have marched with us before.
Before the parade, there was a wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unkown Revolutionary War Soldier at the Old Presbyterian Meeting House.
CMM past President Bill Schwetke commanded the Color Guard for both events.
