Jerry graduated from Boring Grade School in 1958. Upon graduating from Sandy Union High School in Sandy, Oregon, in 1962, Jerry joined the United States Army, serving in the Army Security Agency and was stationed in Okinawa. After his separation from military service in 1965,
Jerry accepted a position with the Central Intelligence Agency in 1966 as a Communication Officer (CT/C). Jerry served in various positions until he retired in 1995 with 29 years of service. In 1967, Jerry married the love of his life, Shirley Elaine Irwin. Together they raised a son and daughter.
Jerry is survived by his wife Shirley; son Christopher of Brisbane, Australia; and daughter, Dr. Carmen D. Booker and son-in-law, James Lloyd Booker Jr. of Laurel, Maryland. He leaves behind five grandchildren: Jasmine, Leah, and Kaia Booker and Liam and Ainsley Hubbard. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Philip Hubbard and his mother Lucy Lillian Campbell Hubbard. He is survived by six sisters: Luree, Celie, Jane, Rose, Debra, and Heather, as well as many other loving family members.
Jerry was interested in genealogy and was a member of several heritage societies including First Families of Connecticut, Order of Founder and Patriots of America, Sons of the American Revolution, Sons of the Revolution and Colonial Wars. Jerry was also a member of the American Legion.
