On Monday, September 11th, The Culpeper Minutemen Chapter, augmented by Paul Chase of the Col William Grayson Chapter, joined Bugles Across America, the Culpeper Fire Department, the Culpeper Police Department, the Culpeper Sheriff's Office, the VFW, and the American Legion in honoring the heroes of 9/11 and Benghazi.  The colors were presented and taps played first at 8:46 AM in front of the Culpeper Fire Department, then at 9:03 in front of the Culpeper Sheriff's Office, then at 9:37 at the Wine Street Memorial Park, then twice at 10:03 at the intersection of Davis and Main.  The times were the impact times of the hijacked airliners on September 11th, 2001; and the second taps at Davis and Main remembered the heroes of Benghazi on 9/11/2012.  After the final taps the musicians played America the Beautiful, followed by Amazing Grace.
